The game I decided to focus on creating was Mario Kart but with real people (famous people) and make them drive the cars instead of cartons. I chose this game to focus on as I feel it would be fun and suitable for everyone. I’m excited to get started on this. I’m hoping with the help of tutorials and lectures I will be able to create this game. Now I just need to decide what game mechanics need to feature in my new game. Hey Ava, Really love the game idea !! I really like how you decided to make the characters celebrity, I think that makes the game really fun and is probably going to be enjoyable by all to see their favourite celebrities competing against one another while racing. I wonder what celebrities that you are gonna choose I think it could be really interesting to see who you choose and to see what cars they will drive. What if you gave the players and option of choosing a car for their celebrity I think that could be really fun and make the game more enjoyable because your giving the player the option of having customisation. ReplyDeleteHi Ava, love the idea of celebrities playing Mario Kart, it sounds hilarious and fun to me. I also think it's a really creative spin on a driving game and would definitely pull in a completely different audience if it was on the market for real. Are you picking random celebrities or are you leaning towards maybe actors, singers or band members? I think it could be fun if there was a theme eg. all the actors from The Vampire Diaries are available and it's based in a dark forest or haunted house. Something just to add a bit more fun to it! I think this could be such a fun game and I'd love to see it's outcome and take a shot at it. I'm also excited to see where you take it as there's so many options available. ReplyDeleteWow this idea is quite a unique. I would not have expected this game idea. I think this would be really cool and quite humorous to have celebrities crashing and driving cars. I would what type of celebrities you will have like will there be actors, will there be world leader and the Kardashians. I would love to see what vehicles you have. Would the maps be cartoon or would they be real too? Overall, I'm really excited to see how this game idea unfolds and I can't wait to play it. A recommendation I would have, and mention would be add in bikes as well as cars. This would be because in Mario depending on the characters, they all have different cars and bikes. I would also recommend that you choose a map genre. For example: different countries across the world, different places in Ireland, the original maps of Mario Kart, etc.
